In our first appointment we can discuss more fully why you are seeking help, ideas you may have about what you would like to achieve, as well as a brief personal history.
This discussion is an opportunity for us to ascertain mutual suitability: we can assess whether I am the right counsellor for you.
I offer both short-term counselling, for a fixed period of time, usually focussing on a specific issue or issues; or open-ended counselling, with no specific end date, allowing for a more exploratory approach.
We can discuss your needs and plan accordingly, and will review our progress regularly.
